DON'T ASK!

Last night I went home with the intention to sketch around in my black book. Do you ever have those moments where the creative side just doesn't seem to work for you! As a result I came out with this. No title, no reason and very random. Make of it what you like.

GOOD WORK KID CUDI!

I know it's not art related.....well it is to me but I have this theory about Hip Hop/Rap video's these days. The big heads that fund them want it all to be about the flash. WHIPS, PAPER, BIG ASS WATCHES, BOATS and all that shit! It does my head in. Especially as in our current economical crisis we are going through. It's just wrong. Then you get Kid Cudi. Using several beautiful women compliment his music with back to basics, old skool seduction at it's best. Definitely my choice video for 09....so far!

THE TALENTED MISS. COGONI

Have to show mad love for Laura Cogoni, not only as she is a former fellow resident artist from the Midlands, but also because she has to be one of the most driven, talented women of this day and age. She writes for various magazines, studied in communications and hung out with the cats from LA times whilst spending some time over there.

As you can see, her works are unique and fresh showing similarities to artists such as Picasso and Matisse who have played a big part in her movement within the art world.

Her work here titled "Rich Bitch" is an insight in to the War On Terror. The avaiator shows the reflection of what is seen through a womans eyes.
